Release notes: For this UHD edition, FORS upsampled the resolution from 1080p, with all the problems that come with this method. I have removed most of these problems as much as possible.
This film uses ST.2048 direct mapping. This is a pretty good way to create HDR. You actually get a movie theater experience in terms of brightness and contrast, but naturally I’m talking about a standard movie theater using xenon lamp projectors, not IMAX Lazer for example.
The Atmos mix for this film is pretty good. Ceiling channels work almost always and positioning and stage feel are very good. I converted Dolby TrueHD with Dolby Atmos to E-AC-3 JOC for better compatibility, the original TrueHD Atmos is in a bonus folder separate from the main file. For it, I created a Dolby Digital Surround EX compatibility kernel, which will allow you to get 6.1 on supported devices from it if you do not have TrueHD support.

I already wrote somewhere that if I figure out how to fix the hellish colors there, or if an edition comes out in another language BD, for example ITA, then I will do it. If anyone is interested, please either send me a link to another BD or just wait when I figure out what to do with Japanese BD.
