The main issues are severe aliasing and grain blocking. Despite them, prominent static noise in the flat area makes it peculiar while effectively preventing the banding. So we applied descaling and reconstruction, then de-banding, anti-aliasing, and compensatory sharpening. Finally, we tried to use dynamic noise to replace the bad encoded noise with the same strength. It is worth mentioning the static noise is so strong that we consider it an art effect; apart from that, introducing too much denoising or dynamic noise may affect the watching experience.
