Much appreciated. Some muxing advice for Dual Audio releases. The order of the tracks and the flags used matter. In this release for the audio tracks you did: English Japanese ← Set as the default track flag This results in a loop of JPN → No Audio → ENG. Instead you want: Japanese ← Set as the default track flag English This instead results in a loop of JPN → ENG → No Audio. One less key press to swap to the other language track. This also applies to the subtitle tracks as well. You want the order to match the audio. You have it as: Songs/Sings ← Set as the Forced track flag Full Subs ← Set as the Default track flag This results in the signs track being incorrectly matched the the JPN Audio upon opening the file with a loop of Signs → No Subs → Full Subs. Although you did set Full Subs with the default flag, you used the forced track flag on the signs track, which overrides it., that's where the "forced" part comes in. It should instead be: Full Subs ← Default track Flag Yes Songs/Signs This along with the aforementioned change will open the file with JPN audio matched with Full Subs with just two key presses needed to swap to ENG audio and Signs. There’s no need to ever use the forced track flag. So long as you set the default track tag to yes on at least one of each of your audio and subs tracks, you’re good to go.
>There’s no need to ever use the forced track flag. Signs/Songs tracks should have the Forced flag for dub watchers though. On mpv, setting alang=eng + slang=eng (along subs-with-matching-audio=yes) will allow dub watchers to get ENG audio + S/S without needing to press a single key. (see this small tagging guide: https://thewiki.moe/advanced/muxing/#correct-tagging)
Using the forced tag for signs and foreign dialogue is literally in the mkv spec so not doing it is just plain wrong
The English audio sync for this is pretty wack. It's way early at the start and end, but seems to be slightly less so throughout the actual episode, maybe even delayed at points.
