So let's just pretend the black bars aren't there. I also tried to enforce a cropped video rendering within the .mkv container, but none of my players seems to respect this setting, so ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ If you believe yourself to be capable of offering an improvement over this result, be my guest. Also, for this release, I didn't keep the DVD audio because it is badly glitched indeed and is plagued with static noise. • The host of "Iruka's Fying Circus" that we see with her dog in the very beginning are Noel and Pup - probably continuous characters throughout multiple Iruka's books, a sort of Iruka-verse, of which only this and [Noel's Fantastic Drip](https://nyaa.si/view/1674299) have been adapted into anime, so we'll never know for sure. I suspect that Noel's appearance was [based around Iruka's stage image](https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00005EWJ4?tag=utanetcom-22&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1) at some point. Or maybe the other way around. Also, Iruka wrote and performed all the songs in this, in addition to writing the original story. • Much like Noel's Trip, this ova is majestically mid, and mostly a distractor for toddlers, although not quite to the same extent as this has some proper story (and not just a selection of clips with forgettable music), clearly resonating with "The Little Match Girl" (albeit without the benefit of being coherent).
