Dude, it’s not compensatory if the final image has darker lineart than source.

@motbob: It’s actually compensating the AA filter, I know it looks gross on stills. Keep in mind that the comparisons are 200% zooms.
To be fair I goes a bit (maybe a bit lot) too strong on darkening, I will not tell you I didn’t but this is my proposal. Could easily fix this (strenght of the filter from 1.5 to 1.25 or maybe 1.33) but who cares about a french tard encodes?
My main issue with the Blu-ray remuxes was the dirty aliasing and it has been processed, I usually don’t do “new stuffs” but I liked the series a lot so I did it. Many new shit shows get 2 cours… Insomniacs season 2 when?
