Yet still less enjoyable than seeing Raph cry as her slave mark activated in s1. Author is a piece of shit moralfag, it would've been 20x better as a show in general if Raphtalia didn't age up, had genuine stockholm syndrome and if Naofumi actually had fallibility as a character and had his own moral quandery that wasn't longer than 20 seconds of "I'll free them eventually so ok" (the rage shield doesn't count as moral struggle, it's literally forced). Also no plot point has consequences and nothing matters. They should, but they don't. Malty gets away with treason, murder, and fraud and framing someone with no consequences. Naofumi gets cursed with no long term consequences, neither has he got one yet despite using the rage shield 10 fucking times. There are no consequences when characters are injured or hurt, there are magical cure all potions, and Filo literally gets eaten for fucking how long and naw it's just alright. Technically we have an upcoming consequence but it's also a fake out because "oh yes it's reversible in the end." This work crucified itself and threw itself into the eternal grave by shitting itself out of the ass with this season, which should be its last chance but we'll see if the merch fucking floats this heaping trash pile to an s4. It really wasn't entertaining watching 3 more heroes all do the exact same shit with Malty Naofumi did, twice is okay, but fucking 4 times? FOUR TIMES!? Author is beyond fucking braindead, maybe he made enough off the royalties of raphtalia figurines he simply doesn't give a fuck anymore. Many such cases, big sad. I hate this damned author, I am rage-starting a novel that inverts every modern pretense of expectation and creating my own stories (I already have several and fuck you they are better than this dogshit), for fuck's sake.
