Just a question:what is the reason to do 3GiB or bigger files? Device specific? HW players?

> what is the reason to do 3GiB or bigger files? smaller filesizes sacrifice visual quality, and we want it to look as beautiful as possible
> what is the reason to do 3GiB or bigger files? encoder brain damage
If you have a 80" 8k TV for monitor, maybe it is reasonable. On a 15" laptop (screen res max 720p) just a waste. If you watch a F1 race, high bitrate and fps are recommended, but for an average anime.... no significant difference.
> On a 15" laptop (screen res max 720p) just a waste. what year is this dude living in? 2004 called, they want their jeettops back
It's alright he's only about 180ppi off the mark

> On a 15" laptop (screen res max 720p) just a waste. bro what year are you living in 1080p has been the baseline for over a decade now (especially at that screen size)
>On a 15" laptop (screen res max 720p) buy a better laptop then
No no, you need to make encodes for 720p laptops from the 2000s. Everything else is a waste.
