These are the video files ripped from the official Hong Kong Video CD release of the Sonic OVA distributed by Century Entertainment Co. Ltd. It appears to be extremely rare these days and there is very little known info about it. It predates ADV's US release by over a year (judging by the date of the files) and uses the Japanese version's video (though it removes ep 1's credits), although the Cantonese dub omits the music that plays at the start of the OVA just like the English dub, for some reason. A neat curiosity that I thought was worth preserving. I didn't change the files at all aside from renaming the file extension to .mpg. Unfortunately no scans because I got these from a guy who knew a guy who had access to a gatekept forum thread with a link to the video files, but you can find pictures of the VCD through online shop listings like [this one](https://www.carousell.com.hk/p/231334696/) or [this one](https://www.carousell.com.hk/p/1175409442/). **Keep in mind that for dual audio VCD files you have to modify the audio channels themselves through [MPC-HC](https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/releases/latest)'s Audio Switcher to only hear one audio track (left channel is Japanese, right is Cantonese). Otherwise, you will hear both the Cantonese and Japanese audio tracks at the same time.** Enjoy, and I might eventually reupload the Sonic X VCDs but with new scans of the CDs and some useless files removed. They're also a neat curiosity.
