![alt text](https://i.ibb.co/mTWPdQc/Ze-Benko-Craetive-Products-Corp-Nyaa-Logo.png) ##### **Wassup, bitches.** I present to you my project of both many hours of my life and too much procrastination. Yeah, I've been putting this off for many months, but recently decided to get around to finishing it. Anyways, you may be asking yourself, "What the fuck is this shit?" Yeah, before you type it in the comments, let me explain. Back in 1993, a small, family-owned, Filipino dubbing company named the Creative Products Corporation created an English dub of Dragon Ball Z. The first ever English dub for the series, in fact, and second English dub of the franchise as a whole, so long as you don't believe in the shithole of Frontier Enterprises. Now, you might also be asking yourself, "Why the fuck should I care?" To be honest with you, you probably shouldn't, but the reason I and many other people do is because it's some major, juicy lost media. Creative dubbed the first 26 episodes of DBZ in '93 and later on in early 1996 they continued where they had left off and carried it to episode 49. That's all fine and dandy, but how many of those 49 episodes do we have? ...11. All of which are from the 1993 run, which was lower in quality. Regardless, I've taken what few episodes exist, thrown away the [old shitty video](https://i.ibb.co/vL3KPL7/mpv-shot0009.png) that these came with, and have synced them to Seed of Mght's DBZ release. For any dub or preservation enthusiasts, take heart. All right, here's the charts for you nerds: ### Video | Source | Resolution | PAR | DAR | Scan Type | FPS | Format | Provided by | Encoded by | |:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:| | [R1+R2J Dragon Box](https://nyaa.si/view/1331089) | 708x480 | 177:160 | 4:3 | Progressive | 23.976 | H.264 | Seed of Might | JySzE / Romao | ### Audio | Episodes | Media | Source | Channels | Sample Rate | Format | Special Thanks | |:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:| | 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 23-26 | VHS | TV Broadcast | Stereo | 48 kHz | FLAC | crygus | ### Subtitles | Language | Title | Format | Source| Provided by | Timing by| Styled by| | :-:|:-:|:-:| :-:|:-:|:-:|:-:| | English| Creative Products Dub Gap Fill | ASS| FUNimation | Seed of Might | Team Mirolo / Seed of Might | corre / iKaos | ### Other Shit ##### If you've heard the original files, you should know that they sound pretty awful. Just letting it be known that I did *nothing* to try and fix the audio. I'm just here to sync, a'ight. Fix it yourself if you care so damn much. ##### In case anyone cares, yes, the audio is from the original files uploaded to the Internet Archive, not the shitty MP4's that they auto generate. I may be stupid, but I have some level of competency. ##### Since this dub is based on the Japanese version, any segments that are missing use Japanese to fill in the gaps. The gaps use audio-leveled Japanese DBOX audio. The only exception being the NEPs, which sometimes use a karaoke of CHA-LA (depending on the episode), which I took from the [Dragon Ball Music Library](https://nyaa.si/view/1091842). ##### The subtitle here fills in the Japanese gaps with SoM English subs so that they can still be understood via casual viewing. Some scenes are also just straight up left in Japanese in the dub, so those few instances have subs as well. ##### If you want to save a couple dozen very precious gigabytes, here's an [audio only version](https://nyaa.si/view/1687200). ##### That's about everything. If you have any issues, contact me [on Discord](https://i.ibb.co/C5Yzxs7/benko.png) and scold my ass over how shit of a job I did; according to you. ##### Oh, also, join [this server](https://discord.gg/r5qkpvpwkK), would ya? ##### Anyways, 'Benko out. Eat ass, smoke grass, and sled fast. ![alt text](https://i.ibb.co/SvM0xsf/Zebenkooooooo.png) # **Seed this shit. Seed everything. Don't be a bum!**

Uffff. Thank you for this amazing release!!!
DB DUBS discord continues to be full of "special" people
slowest SoM seed ever
@StarzCherryBlood (This is ZeBenko, I don't have a Nyaa acc) Maybe because this isn't a Seed of Might release. I am one person with lower mid-tier internet trying to seed close to 30 gigs to up to 8 people atm. Just wait for other people to start seeding. This is the best that I can do. Or just download the 1 gig audio version. I gave y'all options.
whyte monolingual fuchs out here having the hardest time finding the "right" version to watch 💀
