Sorry, pal @Legionaire. This is an instance where the film grain that was in the source frame actually ADDED detail to the show. Removing it with BM3D_SMD_KNL and BM3D_SMD_WNNM was a wrong, and frankly, horrible change to the show. In the dark shadows, I'm left with a blank and boring scene. A very important part of this episode as well... I look into that character's eyes on the third comparison. He shows remorse, a different emotion than the source image. His eye color has changed from yellow to green; his mouth looks like he wants something more but can't quite bring himself do what needs doing. The one who shot his mother isn't in the anime anymore due to this encode setting. I recommend reverting your change and applying a more simple fix: Delete all references/scene tags including "cinematographer" Apply a low strength texture filter around those lines which have already been blurred by bmm2dsmax using 'blur' option at top right corner (if you're running MaxCope3D) Ask Vodes to manually repaint the lineart for effective darkening effect 2nd pass - After removing reference & text tag(s), apply small brushstroke near each individual element within animation or dialogue area such way so they fill up whole screen when viewed through 3 cameras viewport instead making them smaller if possible.- Add some blur effects between characters face during conversation / scenes. Change the character's eye color to be correct to the show (the src had the wrong color) Lastly, Force Zewia to use BGAA mode because we don´t need any extra details after rendering both images via Sword Art Online Demuxing Software.
