Sure, VLC might work, but it also might not, as it's been plagued with issues in the past, and potentially in the present.
Our releases are tested with MPV which has pretty much always "just worked", so that's what we're supporting.
@Animorphs, well, depend on specs of all laptop and computer it might work on it or not.
For me, your video file is working on VCL of my laptop but "TrueHD" doesn't work on my laptop because it cannot handle. Only MPC can handle it.
If you buy expensive laptop, TrueHD or some might work on high specs PC/Laptop
