This is [[whomst]](https://nyaa.si/view/1579199) with some additional changes to the subtitles. Most notably, I added subtitles to the scenes with comms, and those subtitles match the Japanese audio (and the tone of the rest of the subs) more than they match the text on screen. Don't read both, or your brain will explode due to cognitive dissonance. These encodes are some garbage combination of Netflix's DV, HDR, and SDR encodes. But although they are garbage, they still [look better](https://slow.pics/c/aVLszN5Q) than any other option. The only major problem is that libplacebo's tonemapping sometimes changes the brightness of the image in the middle of a scene, which I did not find particularly annoying, but ymmv. Pray for Blu-Rays. Or perhaps Netflix's new 5000kbps rips might exist for this show? Episode 8 has a v2 with a script correction.

Gracias, choom-amigo-lad-boyo!
thanks, praying for Green-Rays
Praying for BDs with y'all, thanks a lot though
yoooo i can finally download this show and never watch it since watching anime is gigacringe
Nice, thanks for stepping up and taking care of this. Maybe I'll actually be bothered to give it a watch now that it's "fixed".
Thanks for the release. Though, even "fixed," the EN subs are an *absolute* clusterfuck (ROFL). They have so little to do with what the characters are actually saying its rather legendary. I ended up watching in pure JP, lol Example: during the ambulance scene in EP1 the emergency company folks talk about insurance and that those without it are to be left for 「救急」 (literally emergency medical service). EN says "*Leave them for the meat wagons.*" XD Another one: at the end of EP1 a character says: "install it into me" in a forceful, direct matter. EN says "*About time I chromed up!*" like it's some lame shounen and he wants to go battle gods, instead of, you know, having kind of a mental breakdown. I never facepalmed at "translations" so hard. And you get this random tone and substance changes in almost every line. Like many people said in many places already, it's like they want to turn seinen into shounen. What in the world are they doing, it's like Woolseyism all over again. This series needs a proper fansub from scratch, hard. Cheers.
Thanks for the warning JohnJack. Guess I'll keep waiting to watch this.
This show will never get a good alternate translation, so there is no point in waiting.
