This release contains: -Patlabor 1: Mobile Police (1989) -Patlabor 2: The Movie (1993) -The Making of Patlabor 2: The Movie -Manga UK Trailers This rip contains: Patlabor 1: Mobile Police: -720x576i video @5984kbps [4:3 Letterboxed] -1995 Manga Entertainment Dub [5.1 AC-3 Surround Sound @448kbps] [ENG] -Original Japanese Audio (1989 Theatrical Sound Mix) [AC-3 Stereo @192kbps] [JPN] -English Subtitles [VobSub] [ENG] -Portuguese Subtitles [VobSub] [POR] -Chapter Markers Patlabor 2: The Movie: -720x576i video @6121kbps [4:3 Letterboxed] -1995 Manga Entertainment Dub [2.0 AC-3 Dolby Surround Sound @192kbps] -Original Japanese Audio (1993 Theatrical Sound Mix) [2.0 AC-3 Dolby Surround Sound @192kbps] -English Subtitles [VobSub] -Portuguese Subtitles [VobSub] -Chapter Markers The Making of Patlabor 2: The Movie -720x576i video @6034kbps [4:3 Fullscreen] -Original Japanese Audio [AC-3 Stereo @224kbps] -English Subtitles [VobSub] -Chapter Markers I am mainly uploading these for a friend and just for the sake of archiving this particular release, it has the rare Manga UK dub in the highest possible quality that you can get it as well as the original theatrical sound mix of the Japanese audio, it also includes a seemingly rare Portuguese subtitle track. Keep in mind that the quality on these DVD's are terrible, it is literally just 4:3 letterboxed VHS footage put on a DVD, the main point of this torrent is just for people who want to extract the raw audio or subs or just want to watch this particular release. (You can fix the letterboxing problem by just pressing C in VLC until it crops it to 16x9.)

The english subs go with which audio? Or are they Subs based on the Japanese audio? The Bandai Eng dub follows the subtitles. I've looked around and can't be sure if they followed the Japanese dialogue when the Dub was remade..Most dubs up to 2005 when funimation was bought by Universal Pictures still followed Japanese translation. ensuring the most continuity possible. After they destroyed the handful of importers and blamed it on net sharing. Funimation began diverging from making dubs the way they had been and began re-writing dialogue before creating dubs. They got rid of the competition so they could manipulate the Anime industry into shortening the length of episodes from 28 min to 24 min to make room for advertisers to incorporate commercials, extending the their sales to include networks globally. If they hadn't got rid of competitors they could have blocked them from making episodes shorter as well has keep funimation in check from gaining so much of the market they had the power to push the industry in the direction they wanted. With only Sentai and funimation exporting It was the first step that would eventually allow them to gain control of the industry through total number of contracts in 2017. They now produce at least 90& of all new shows. Giving them final say on every step of productions, As everyone already knows the decline in quality was blamed on the studios but it was really all funimations doing.because they began producing Anime around 2011(airing 2012) Which is when the decline started.

@JustSayNo2Funi I don't know what the fuck you are talking about but if you want info on the subs the English subtitles are for the Japanese audio track and not the dub so yeah it is not just the dub script put onto subtitles but instead a direct translation, I have no idea if it is more or less accurate than any other translation of the movie out there.
@JustSayNo2Funi >28 min episodes Mate, when was that a thing?
