Not sure what you're using to encode the video, but the quality is awful and the aspect ratio is wrong. Not trying to be an asshole, but there's something not right here. I know the DVD's don't look that bad to begin with.
The quality of the DVDs are already that bad. Plus the aspect ratio on the DVDs are 16:9, and 720x480 resolution. I can't help that the quality of the DVDs suck, I've seen much better quality on other R2J DVDs. The first 2 seasons of Metal Fight Beyblade for example were released by Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan, and the quality of the VOBs were really good. The third season was released by Warner Japan, and the quality of the VOBs were awful.
