@Mindception Anime series streamed are always stereo when they air. But some get upgraded to 5.1 when the BD drops. It's been this way for a very long time.

@Kazumato Arknights was actually aired on TV with 5.1 (not CR because lol) Director said they wanted to create a more "cinematographic" feeling to the show, hence the 1.85:1 aspect ratio + 5.1 surround on TV
