This was the last Lupin anime that needed to be subtitled, as far as I know.
Translation Notes (spoilers):
Episode 0:
Lupin Sensei (Mr. Lupin) sounds like Lupin Sansei (Lupin III).
Ending pun that was replaced is based on 怪盗 (Thief) and 解答 (Answer) both being pronounced "kaitou".
Episode 1:
This episode is a reference to Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin).
Episode 2:
Saitou (Japanese surname) rhymes with Kaitou (Thief). I replaced Saitou with Keefe because it rhymes with Thief.
Episode 3:
Rupaki is a reference to "moteki" which is a period of popularity with the opposite sex that supposedly everyone experiences at some point in their life. I replaced Rupaki with Lupimania.
Episode 4:
This episode is a reference to Humanoid Monster Bem (妖怪人間ベム).
Episode 5:
Replaced pun at the end is based on "一過" (passed) and "一家" (family) which are both pronounced "ikka". In other words they replaced Typhoon in "Typhoon ikka" to get "Lupin ikka", then wrote "ikka" as family, to make it "Family Lupin".
Episode 6:
This episode is a reference to "Inaka de Tomarou!" (Let's Stay in the Country!) a TV show about spending the night at someone's house in a rural town.
Episode 7:
This episode is a reference to Rascal the Raccoon (あらいぐまラスカル). In Japanese the word for raccoon means "washing bear" (あらいぐま). When Tommy is listing things he does, the last one is money laundering, and that that's why he's called "washing Lupin".
Episode 8:
This episode is a reference to My Neighbor Totoro (となりのトトロ). The replaced girl's name is Mazurka because the dad's reaction is "mazui" (terrible/horrible/disgusting).
Episode 10:
The word for worn out (摩耗) is pronounced the same as Mamou from Mystery of Mamo. Ending pun is based Hansei (reflection) rhyming with Sansei (the Third).
