Just for fun... This is another thing that was in the backlog; must've translated this sometime last year. An old short introduction video telling "the" story of Jewelpet from the brand's launch year in 2008, before its anime started in 2009. Little TL note I forgot to put in the post - Ruby refers to herself in this video as Kougyoku, the Japanese word for the Ruby gemstone, rather than the proper name Ruby. This is part of the early presentation of the brand - wherein the gemstones are the Jewelpet's names, separate from their nicknames. When the anime was made they basically overwrote this so the nicknames were their names instead, with minor exceptions (for example, Garnet's nickname was "Net" but she's still Garnet in the anime).
