What a great show. It'll be the second CGI I've watched apart from Dorohedoro, being quite picky.
Love how they really keyed in on expressions and details in general, it clearly bears all the hallmarks of a 10th anniversary colab project that deserves a watch.
Cgi can be a great medium to use for a show but this looks more like final fantasy spirits within then Dorohedoro. sadly when cgi is used in some media it triggers a human defensive mechanism. the uncanny valley.
parts of it looked good in ep 1. other parts looked forced. I watched it regularly, and with AI making it smoother and honestly couldn't tell which I liked more.... I'm still not gonna judge this show entirely yet but I'm pretty turned off by it... if it's gonna be cgi-shit just give me Houseki no Kuni s2 already
