[Not MiraiAnime] Non Non Biyori Nonstop (2022) [OVA|OAD] [BD 1080p x265 HEVC FLAC] [ENG-SUB] I Did My Best Doing the Club Activities 13 / Bukatsu o Ganbatta
put your name on your bullshit claims, buddy
you one of those retards that think they have golden ears? lmao
Just because you got tricked into buying a $1,000, 3-foot headphone cable doesn't mean Opus is a bad codec. Sorry pal.
http://listening-test.coresv.net/results.htm (and that's OLD - Opus has only gotten better since then).
I've said it before and I'll say it again: If having bit-perfect audio reproduction on an ANIME TV SERIES is that important for you, what the FUCK are you doing downloading a highly compressed HEVC rip? Have some consistency and only download/store BD raws. Better yet, contact the mastering studio and beg for a RGB/YUV/RAW file. You'll only need about 100 GB per episode.
The lack of logical consistency on this shit is mind-numbing to me. Concentrated autism around "audiophile" snakeoil propaganda is the only thing that explains it.
For the rest of us rational, neurotypical people, having lossy audio on our lossy video makes perfect sense. Because there is no such thing as golden ears, and TV anime (or even anime films) aren't sonically complex classical music. These tracks aren't engineered or mastered by venerated geniuses from the vinyl rock era, they are put together by corpo wageslaves in Japan. You aren't missing out on anything important at all by using a lossy codec.
The ONLY time I archive long-term in FLAC is classical music or other sonically complex music or important classic albums from famous bands. For other pop/rock/metal/similar? Both Apple qAAC and Opus are fine at high bitrates. And for a lot of mundane or electronic music, Opus is even fine at 128.
