Comparison of this encode vs. Italian Blu-Ray and Beatrice-Raws
Mediainfo
The Japanese and Italian Blu-Rays for this movie are very different. The Japanese Blu-Ray generally looks better but has some catastrophically bad scenes, as you can see in the first few comparisons to Beatrice-Raws. Meanwhile, the Italian Blu-Ray has low-quality and shifted chroma, which means that strong colors look “off” in most scenes, most visibly in comparison 4 above.
As a result, a proper encode of this movie has to switch off between the two sources. If you want to encode the movie, here is a list of ReplaceFramesSimple frame ranges where the Italian Blu-Ray should be used. (Note that you need to get rid of the extra frame in the Japanese Blu-Ray before doing this. Import the 00001 m2ts with frame range [:-1]
. Be sure to trim out the corresponding audio, too. It’s just a repeat of the previous frame’s audio.)
Japanese 2.0/5.1 and English 5.1 audio tracks are included for your convenience. I hope someone can make a good fansub release using this encode so that I can delete it. Someone like jymmy, perhaps.

Huh? Was there an encode/muxing error?
