okay :) btw, just wondering, why not going with the 2GB 2160p of NanDesuKa? is it just redundant bloat?
its an upscale and looks worse than D+
It is true that it is an upscale, but I think the 2160p global rip looks cleaner and sharper. Captured both scenes at a monitor resolution of 2160p fullscreen in MPV [alfaHD] Bleach Sennen Kessen-hen S01E01 ( Bleach S17E01 - (367) ) 1080p DSNP WEB-DL AAC 2.0 x264 Multi-Subs (Thousand-Year Blood War) [EN][PT-BR][ES-LA] [F7298272] https://abload.de/img/orhime1080p01d56.png Bleach - S17E01 - 2160p WEB H.264 -NanDesuKa (B-Global).mkv (Bleach - Thousand-Year Blood War | BLEACH - Sennen Kessen-hen) https://abload.de/img/orhime2160pk0fox.png Maybe I am looking at the wrong place, but I like 2160p better.
Upscales are bad, but it's okay to say you're blind.
^ Then tell me in what way the 1080p version here looks better instead of leaving a retarded brain dead comment...
@jcraw D+ has a lot more detail retention imo https://slow.pics/c/in2Eg186
That is a downscale from an upscale... But okay, I made comparisons with the original video I have - and to be properly correct: Both are meh in different ways. Background gradient noise has more loss of quality in the official upscale -> so more detail retention for Disney But Disney has more losses in other areas, very noticeable in my comparison above. But still if we compare even in the image catalogue you posted: 22/46 still looks better in the downscaled upscale. 27/46 has noticeable quality loss in linework in Disney+ most pictures are kind of on par but look slightly different So it just something along the line of take your poison. Jeez, I should stop with it, just watch it and wait for the defintive BD-lossless release or something... All these hours wasted on a perfect collection is just time I should not waste anymore.
I'm hoping the next episode won't have a 4min ed full of grain that murders the encode lol. Should look better next week, surely. You literally cannot color-match some of the signs properly in this episode due to it being so fucked up, it's amazing. I was doing some additional TS and I almost had a heart attack when I zoomed in lmao.
Compared to the old lossy HDTV, garbage crunchy-bloats & the garbage US-BD this is still heaven. But still shame they didn't create bigger file-sizes. 1.5-2GB would have been a lot more fair. Oh yeah, sounds like a pain in the ass to edit that way. Are you & kefizh working together on Bleach btw?
@jcraw Not directly but we do talk and trade ideas.
Ah, that is cool. Looking forward to what you will cook up :) !
I appreciate the time and effort put into this (as well as providing the font files), but I have a question, What's with this "Deputy" stuff, it's always been "Substitute" for as long as I remember. I took your tr04 and fixed/tweaked it a little, now just to re-mux it into someones release, btw, the timing worked great with the release from ember I have.
I'm also wondering why you've changed it to "Deputy"... But if you need a timer, I'd be happy to help.
