You're not using the psy fork all that well. These settings are recommended ones for standard aomenc (with this content and goal in mind, sure), however the psy fork enables more tools that are not used at all here and as such don't provide *any* benefit over standard aomenc.
However, in my opinion, the most strange choice was to enable dnl denoising. The denoiser in aomenc is sub optimal and slow. It will inevitably lead to blurring. There are way better alternatives, but it'll require you to do some actual filtering instead, still, nothing too fancy though...
Also, tiles are basically useless now, using 1 can *maybe* very slightly improve decode perf and seeking perf on really old devices with the latest decoders, but higher than that? Pretty useless. Not that it hurts all that much, sure, but it's still odd.
Still, great efforts and good to have someone new doing AV1 stuff.
