could you get the catalan audio?

The Catalan dub and other dubs from Spain would appear to be locked in to Selecta Vision, so may have to wait for its Spanish release (guess around Feb/March 2023).

@Impakt, just Castilian and Catalan have a dub for this movie, but remember that Selecta didn’t distribute this movie in Spain, but Crunchyroll itself. Also, there will be a Greek dub but for what I investigated, however it seems that will be a physical release~

@Samishii00, the audio is originally from LatinoMegaHD, and I think even the Japanese CAM Rip is incomplete

The Japanese cam is missing about 25 seconds at the very end and this new Spanish cam is missing about 17 seconds during the happy end when Piccolo asks about the Makankosappo, and the camera goes black for a couple seconds during the after credits. Also, the English credits seem to be shortened.

But what I don’t understand is why we don’t see iDiOTS’ own release of this new cam anywhere, instead only this LatinoMegaHD rip. Anyways, I’m working on a complete version right now, video is already done. Only need to sync the English dub and improve the subs.

@pukulan10jurus You’re right, that’s what I’ve noticed when I was doing the syncs of each dub. I don’t understand what happened, but… that’s the result. iDiOTS’s release was uploaded in x1337 (?), still, working on another video for this movie is a bit unnecessary if the Bluray’s coming on December xD

No, the iDiOTS release on 1337 is their version of the Japanese cam.

I didn’t have to do a lot of work for the video, I just made a avisynth script trimming all the right parts from the right sources, encoded that, and then re-synced the audio. I also used the footage that was released in HD for the first 5 mins, and grabbed the missing video and audio from youtube, making for a complete version that should do for most people who can’t wait till December. Also, there’s room for improvement regarding the subtitles.

About syncing: it becomes a LOT easier if you take the time to find the right slowdown percentage. ;-) But due to the nature of cam audio it’s still indeed a lot more difficult then syncing with clean audios.

The thing with the English dub cam rip, was that just that we had to slow the audios down (like you said, I did that), there were missing frames and lots of “commercials”, but yeah, I’ll wait for the clean version of all dubs and footage anyway xD

What is HDTS ?

High Definition TeleSync. Filmed in a theatre with a HD camera, to which audio from another source was synced. Usually line audio, but not in this case.
