## ANIME INFORMATION ## In 3015, the year of Huanli, two countries, Donatia and Kouran, are embroiled in a war of supremacy that is tearing the world around them apart. The small island Nil Kamui has suffered exceptionally from the war, with lands conquered in the name of each kingdom and stolen away from the people. To make matters worse, their deity, the Red Dragon, has gone mad, rampaging about Nil Kamui burning villages and killing people indiscriminately. Ibuki, a descendant of Nil Kamui's royal family, resides at an orphanage and refuses to take on the role of king. Abhorring conflict, Ibuki desires a peaceful resolution, however the chaotic world will not allow for such pacifism when it is being torn asunder by war. Despite his reluctance, Ibuki is drawn deep into this conflict. Can he rise to the occasion and save his country? @everyone Hi hi! I'm back today too with another release! So, this one was requested by @kaiserstar1 and I decided to do it since there weren't many torrents alive for this series so I wanted to revive it in a grand way (83.2GB way) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I used the JP Blu-Ray as source for the Japanese Audio Track and for the video and I combined it with the English TrueHD and AC-3 tracks from the Blu-Ray. The English Audio Tracks are the same but I kept both for compatibility purposes (some might have issues playing AC-3 on their PC and some with TrueHD so you have both). Now regarding the subtitles, they are from [DameDesuYo], a fansub which I have at heart for doing an extremely good job with their subs (if only they would use Remuxes from Blu-Ray/DVD sources tho...) Welp, mainly it was simple enough to do since the audio tracks synced from the get go, I only had to way a while to process around 300-400GBs of data (the JP BD once, the JP BDRemux once, the US BD once and then to load the episodes into Aegisub to sync the subs, uf...)
>if only they would use Remuxes from Blu-Ray/DVD sources tho… but why remuxes are always worse than good and filtered encodes
Why don't you convert PCM to FLAC?
"remuxes are always worse than good and filtered encodes" i mean, true, but- remuxes do b beating shitty encodes
I do appreciate of what you've done, but I must admit that I do wish the size of the episodes could at least be lower to like under 2.0 Gib.

@matheousse I do agree here, but good encoders are really hard to find, I'm not one and I didn't check how encodes look for this series to use as the source for the video track. @Godim Well, I didn't want to touch the original sources and wanted to keep the Remux as untouched as possible. @tonikaku Yeah, they do, but imagine encoding a series like a journey, the end of the road is the best encode and the beginning is the source, so by using a Remux is like staying at the beginning =)) Quite a dum-dum comparison, especially since I don't know how the encodes are for this series, some might actually be good. @kaiserstar1 I mean, the audio tracks are indeed under 2GB for each episode, the video has the rest of that size ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Jokes aside, I'm no encoder and I wouldn't start being one without knowledge how to do it only to lower the size of a series I work on WITHOUT to lose visible details on the video itself (that's the most common issue).
Can you do R.O.D Series BDRemux? https://myanimelist.net/anime/208/ROD__Read_or_Die https://myanimelist.net/anime/209/ROD__The_TV
Filesize does not fit the show it encodeed. No match, try again at saner settngs. 83GB what daft nonsense (this show was not worth 83GB if I was being unclear).

@ElderKai That's a bit too big for me to handle, a remux for 26 episodes and 3 ovas from DVD, yeah that would be alright, but a BDRemux would be around 190GBs maybe close to 200GBs if I add some extra stuff to the release. And I don't think if it's worth to work on it at this point, since Mr. Kimiko made a neat release for the OVAs and there is the very well seeded torrent from [a-s] for the main series (idk how good is that one tho). @dnbdave Indeed, it's quite dumb to do like I did for such a series, and I get what you mean. Personally I didn't watch it before I made the release so I knew nothing of it, but I like to make things equal, maybe we aren't fond of it but some might think it's worth the extra GBs. There's also the reason that, if I knew how to encode I would have lowered the size by a lot, up to the point where the bitrate was exactly as it needed to be to maintain a close-to-perfect video quality, because BDs are bloating stuff to oblivion, but there's nothing I can do, and I would rather not touch it if I don't know what I'm doing. This should give others the chance to work on it though ;D (and like usual, neat pfp there)
@ShinMugetsu2000 So, what do you think about make Sunabouzu DVDRemux or Black Cat DVDRemux? Do you think it should be done? https://myanimelist.net/anime/25/Sunabouzu https://myanimelist.net/anime/68/Black_Cat_TV

@ElderKai I see that @DarkDream787 made an encode for the "Black Cat" which would be better for those who don't want big-sized releases (because I could make a DVDRemux but it would be 2x times or more than DarkDream's encode) so let's say it doesn't need at the moment such a release (especially since it's well seeded now too). Mr. Kimiko shared the R1US DVDISO on Nyaa for "Black Cat" so there's ONE MORE REASON to not do it. https://nyaa.si/view/1240480 https://nyaa.si/view/1409945 As for "Sunabouzu" it seems that @neoborn made an encode for it which is well seeded too. And as it was with "Black Cat", it seems the DVDISO for "Sunabouzu" (Desert Punk) is also shared on Nyaa for both R1US and R2UK regions. https://nyaa.si/view/1273663 https://nyaa.si/view/1409947 https://nyaa.si/view/1410924 Making a release for these 2 series at this point would only do harm to the uploaders who worked and shared them on Nyaa before me, so as long as there is something well seeded (and fairly well-looking) then there's no point in "stealing" seeders and making the releases die. EDIT: BUT, because I like to keep the leash comfortable, I'll think about it a bit more, only that at the moment I'm busy with some irl stuff.
Appreciate all your rare shares!!
