Why, when watching this show does it seem to end so quickly, when with some other shows it is like travelling with children (are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet)??? The episodes of this show just seem to pass so quickly that I expect more of the story instead of the ED.

If it feels like it is ending too quickly then it means that it is a really good show. Good things don’t last and bad things last too long.

That feeling doesn’t mean it’s good, it means it’s engaging. A bad show can be engaging in the right situation (typical for trainwrecks hanging out in the “so bad it’s good” aisle). And a good show can seem to take forever in the right situation (typically when there’s a really painful scene happening and a skillful director makes it feel like twisting the knife over and over).
