Sure it was better than the dvd but it wasnt exactly good. The bitch of it is, WB back before they lost the distribution rights to pokemon remastered the 3rd movie from their film stock into 720p HD for apple. Sure since its higher gen film and web 720p from over a decade ago is isnt perfect ether, but its better than the bluray. Better colors, more in focus scan, it doesnt have the nice grain layer that the bluray did but thats one thing in favor of it vs several in favor of wb's version. Colors on this are dang close to the WB dvd from back in the day too! And they actually did a proper 16:9 job for this, instead of the cropped on the sides 4:3 their dvd had or the slightly cropped on top and bottom to 1.85:1 that the bluray has. So you get the full frame instead of part of it. I sourced this from usenet, the dvd sound 5.1 sound track is nicely sync'd to it and my own personal dvd remux extras are included too.
