Funny how you release it on Friday morning when someone uploads it first, and on Saturday/Sunday when no one does. Don't know if it's because you're too lazy to time the lines, so you wait for someone to do it and then use some python script to OCR the lines and get the timing or someting.. but glad if it motivates you to procrastinate less, lol.

@mmbzsjdb : I just find it funny how he speeds himself up when someone else releases it early x) Also, if you look at my release and his, most of the lines (meaning or phrasing) are similar, and yet, I had to guess most of the lines with the manga's help since I didn't have the raw subtitles like him to double check. My release was pretty accurate, released 10 hours ago, and he calls that "garbage". Tells you a lot about what kind of person he is, imo, but whatever x)

@Luxury They use TV-rip closed captions as a base for the timing. And even if they didn't, the Subtitle Edit dialogue guesser can time any episode for you in 30 secs (works even better if you isolate the voices from the sfx), and refining them would take less than 10 minutes (splitjoining in SE + Aegisub TPP). Burning the subs in the video won't make any difference either. Now there are scripts that can OCR anything without major effort in minutes, even if you use cyan Papyrus 12 text with magenta borders and white shadows.

@Kuromancer : True for the most part, but Subtitle Edit's voice recognition isn't that great with japanese, as it tends to get words/particles separately (creating a new line, each time), so not sure it'd be faster than just timing it yourself tbh. ----------- @Cosmic : What inferior version ? He doesn't know Japanese any more than I do, he just uses the manga chapters like I do, and in case of doubt, checks the raw subtitles and correct the meaning accordingly. More than that, he monopolises the DSNP raw to himself (as well as TV caps), so that no one else would make a better version than his lol As for your question about JP subs, some lines are often added as an "original" addition to episodes, and therefore, you wouldn't find them in the manga version. Also, some scenes are sometimes not in the same order as they were in the manga, so JP Captions definitely help in those situations to identify the right sentences. But I'll admit, most of the episode is doable without JP Caps, if you can follow the manga chapters and get the right lines from the right scenes as it's being displayed in the episode.

@Abunja : Of course he doesn't TL, he just copy pasta the lines. I released mine 4 - 6 hours after Ohys, he released it the next day (12 - 14 hours later). Give me the same amount of time, and my version would've probably been as polished as his.

Bruh, it's not an acknowledgement. Even I can tell that your methods are bad, it's that herkz has more merit than me to tell you that since he's been into the scene for quite the time. And working alone doesn't make you good, it only shows that bad things are to be expected if there's nobody around that would check your work.
