This fan translation of One Piece is meant to completely replicate the official Viz English release of One Piece but in color! This release contains the entire first Volume. -Q & A- -"So are you the anonymous guy who did Whole Cake Island with all the SFX?" No, that is a completely different person. Though he is definitely my inspiration for this project. Unfortunately he doesn't fully translate SFX anymore as it's too time consuming. He's done more volumes since then, but without the redrawing. Instead the SFX are left unedited, with a little side note translating what it says. This is meant to be similar to Viz's WSJ version of One Piece chapters. I intend to not make the same mistake of overworking myself so that every page can look exactly the way I want it. -"Why don't you change "Zolo" to "Zoro" or anything? And you even kept the "Read this Way" stamps and page numbers?" Yes, I make everything exactly like the Viz version of the book. Basically my vision is "what would it look like if Viz released the One Piece color volumes translated?" Viz is not known to go back and improve old, poor translations. The only thing they'd probably improve is the redrawing. A lot of the SFX just white out everything in the background, which doesn't look [too] conspicuous in a black and white manga, but in color it looks really unprofessional. If you don't like me keeping "Zolo" there are other Viz-esque fan translations that make such changes. I'd recommend JK's release. -"These pages are only 760x1200." When I was working on this project, a lot of people wanted me to use a 1520x2400 source from waifu2x-caffe. While I do think it can make panels look nice sometimes, it can also muddy line art, or erase tone sheets. So ultimately I decided to stick with the original resolution. If you want this upscaled, I recommend using waifu2x yourself. The application is on GitHub for free and it's very user-friendly. -"How long did this take you to make?" A long time. Far too long. So long that I don't think there's any chance I'd finish the series by myself. I'm less worried about keeping people pleased with a fast release, and more concerned with making a final product that I'm happy with at my own pace. That being said, if you're interested in giving a helping hand, or just want to stay updated on my releases, I recommend joining my Discord server (https://discord.gg/db9UzvY) -"I don't know how to torrent, where else can I find your work?" Well first of all, what are you doing here? Lol. Fortunately for you, there are multiple websites where I've already uploaded my work. I've released the entire first volume on bato.to (https://bato.to/series/93187/bejee-one-piece-digital-colored-manga-viz-replica) and on The Colored Council (https://coloredmanga.com/manga/one-piece-color-viz-replica/). I'd recommend the Colored Council. The site is very mobile-friendly.

Wow, this is amazing. Must've taken forever too. Massive respect. Also, thank you for not using waifu2x to poorly upscale this, looks much better like this. P.S. I respect your decision to not replace Zolo with Zoro, even if I personally prefer Zoro. However, with both JK and anonymous doing it, it might just be the best idea to stick with Zoro.
