It’s already a gone case when they decided to increase the number of main characters from 5 to 9 just so they could sell more merch, CDs, etc. Superstar 100% did not need any additions.

Superstar is already better than the mess that was Nijigasaki; even if season 2 is bad, it’s at least bound to be better than S1 of Nijigasaki.
