I got sick and tired of people recommending the terribly-paced One Piece anime, so I took matters into my own hands and re-edited it myself to be filler-free ONE PIECE KAI/DUB PACE, part DEUX THE FOLLOWING IS A NON-PROFIT FAN BASED EDIT OF THE FUNIMATION DUB IF TOEI’S ONE PIECE ANIME. ALL RIGHTS TO EIICHIRO ODA, SHUEISHA, SHONEN JUMP, FUJI TV, AND ANY OTHER OWNERS OF THE IP I got sick and tired of being sick and tired of people recommending the atrociously paced One Piece anime, so I decided to stop bitching and take matters into my own hands and re-cut the dub of the series myself. I originally posted it two years ago, deleted it in a fit of insanity, and now I’m back with Fishman Island and Dressrosa. I’ll get to Whole Cake Island when the dub gets there, and then Wano after that. FAQ: Isn’t this just like One Pace? Yes, I DO know One Pace exists… but quite frankly I’m not completely satisfied with the job they did because I ALSO know that they’re still working on some of the best arcs in the series, namely Alabasta and Water 7. I also know WHY they do it, but it doesn’t change the fact that they still don’t have these arcs up yet. To separate this from One Pace, I’m using the English dub instead of the original Japanese and stopping at Dressrosa, because the dub has only gone up to episode 746. The other big difference is that I’ve cut it into roughly hour-long chunks to make it more bingeable. Each episode runs from around 40 to 80 minutes and usually covers three to five chapters of the manga. In total there’s 139 episodes, with an additional half episode dedicated to the Ace vs. Blackbeard fight. Think of it as a Netflixification of the One Piece anime. Y’know, if you ignore the ACTUAL Netflix series coming soon. I started out trying to make everything 1:1 with the manga, but that quickly became tedious because of how much the anime likes to swap scenes around from the manga. I also left in certain filler scenes if I liked them enough. Long story short, if you’re looking to binge the English dub of the series up through Dressrosa or looking to show it to someone else, this would be a good start. Why isn’t it subbed?? Because I like the dub better. If you want it subbed, go to One Pace.
