This is not a mini encode, AV1 is just crazy like that. If and when there’s an English blu-ray release this will be replaced with a v2 that has Opus English audio.
The original comparison screenshots had color issues due to the default behavior of ffmpeg when extracting specific frames from a HEVC stream, the screenshots have been corrected and now reflect the colors of all encodes shown accurately.
