Episode 1 - Comparison - BDMV vs NAFT vs Lia vs Reza vs GJM - Mediainfo
Episode 2 - Comparison - BDMV vs NAFT vs Lia vs Reza vs GJM - Mediainfo
This is not a mini encode, AV1 is just crazy like that. If and when there’s an English blu-ray release this will be replaced with a v2 that has Opus English audio. This is coming out a while after the original volume 1 blu-ray release, but future volumes will be more prompt!
The original comparison screenshots had color issues due to the default behavior of ffmpeg when extracting specific frames from a HEVC stream, the screenshots have been corrected and now reflect the colors of all encodes shown accurately.

your comparison screens have different colours, probs need to double check if that’s introduced during taking of the screenshot of when its uploaded to slow.pics.
at the very least reza and gjm should not have such a colour difference.

@Tsukudakobashi It looks like it’s a problem introduced by using ffmpeg to screenshot specific frames instead of timestamps. Thanks for pointing that out, I’ll correct and reupload them.

@Tsukudakobashi Those have been fixed, thanks again!
