This is Naruto, the Ocean Cut Edition.
This is a fanmade Re-Edit of the TV Anime of the Naruto Series. The TV Anime is a pain to watch due to
- excessive use of flashbacks
- snail pacing
- filler
- recap
- nonsense
The Ocean Cut aims to re-envision the series by re-editing it into a more streamlined, more enjoyable watch.
Key Features:
- English Dub.
- Multiple TV Episodes are condensed into Videos between 50min and 2hrs in length.
- OPs play once per Video.
- Important Japanese On-Screen Text is translated when possible.
- Flashbacks removed unless deemed necessary.
- Recap removed as much as possible.
- Music and VA are edited to avoid jarring cuts
- Filler is generally removed. Some anime original content that is deemed beneficial to the product is retained and repackaged as "Specials".
- Some minor visual edits are made where considered beneficial.
NOTE:
- This is MY custom version of Naruto, and while some edits are objectively necessary, many are very subjective and according to my tastes.

You might have found this project through a Youtube video of my explaining my [process](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II5t9fuUW70).
However, I have changed around some things for this public version of The Ocean Cut:
- General Clean-Up of Janky Cuts
- Titlecard should now be uniformally formatted
- Removed the Jiraiya-Voice-Edit. In the end, it was just too janky.
- Changed Orochimaru & Kabuto's Ending to something less crass and more ambiguous.
- Special #4 "Boyhood" was added.
I mean, they reduced 720 eps to 72. What do you expect? Removing fillers doesn't mean cutting the entire thing.
Moreover, the YouTuber gives some numbers at the end of the video, from 250 hours down to a total of 135. It's much more reasonable.
Wasn’t the biggest fan of some files being MP4 and others being M4V because M4V files aren’t compatible on PlayStation but for some reason you can just rename the file extension and it works perfectly fine on a PS4. Very surprised that worked on my end but maybe it’s because the M4V files are also H264
English Dub only ? Dude there's reaaally so much source which provides dual audio with (soft) subtitles so you could've choose just one of them to let Sub/Dub Fans enjoy at the same time but this...is called waste.
**@ZeroviBritannia** He made this for his girlfriend, his household is a dub watching household. It would be impractical to include the Japanese Audio and Sub. Since he's editing using Adobe Premiere, why not edit it there too? It would be impractical to make subtitles and merge it. You should watch the process, assuming you didn't watch it.
Dub and probably didn't even use jysze's encode lmao. Just watch the show or don't holy fuck imagine being THIS much of an autistic cuck. I would say get a gf that isn't a retard but you sound like such a limp dick ballless bitch you probably can't even find another.

Good stuff, thank you. At least signups are closed to prevent this whole comment section from being full of bitchless spergs like Interruptor that cope with never having anyone that will care for them by calling people cucks for their dedication.
Thanks for this. I may finally watch Naruto. Don't see why people need to be so toxic. Its awesome to see the amount of effort you put in for your girlfriend, and the way you wanted to see the show.
Pros:
~ Tremendous "lossless compression" of insane amount of Naruto;
~ as I got from comments - now your gf can watch it with enjoyment
vs
CONS:
~ WAY TOO HIGH bitrate for the resolution you chose (I just downloaded random episode and almost shit*ed my pants of laugh - 7000Kbps for 920x720 res with keeping of pixeled black in dark scenes);
~ Built-in eng dub only - as Interruptor mentioned above, your work becomes worthless for others since it has combo of no original audio and built-in dub as the only audio available (which cuts out the possibility of using your torrent as source for re-encodes);
~ HardSub - same as in brackets above.
P.S. worth watching. for now.
This is nothing short of amazing. Loved it! Third rewatch of Naruto and first of this cut. What this guy did is really, really awesome. And also, Naruto is one of those cases when the dub is superior to sub hence the choice he made makes sense. Although I must admit I do not see why the japanese couldn't be added as well? How much does it affect size?
