@Adam_Blazar It makes a lot of sense really, you get more bits for the same information, so downscaling a 4k source can result in better quality than just using the original 1080p source. It’s the same reason why even if a show is native 720p, getting the 1080p web sources and descaling is pretty much always the best method. If B-Global’s scaling was reversible we could get even better quality encodes, but I’m unsure exactly what they are using.
