Today is Revolutionary Girl Utena's 25th anniversary and I wanted to release something to celebrate. Since I put out all the release-ready Black Rose episodes for April's Fools, I was kinda stuck for viable ideas till I remembered this CD, which I actually own a physical copy of. This release includes the twelve tracks from Utena OST CD 04 (these rips sourced from BakaBT), and lyrics on external text files for the ten tracks that feature vocals. This CD includes mixes of songs from the first two arcs performed by Universal Gravitation, who sang the Apocalypse arc duel songs, as well as two songs that did play in the show: the Apocalypse version of Zettai Unmei Mokushiroku, and Missing Link, the insert song from the finale. Two songs here haven't featured in our releases yet (tracks 3 and 4), so their lyrics may not be final (though we want to give the early duel songs another pass eventually, so strictly speaking any lyrics here are liable to change in the final series batch). Many thanks to Cala and CL3 for all their excellent work on the songs that have played in the episodes we've released so far, and many thanks to bluesun for his insightful input on all the songs I asked for help with. I am most grateful for the extremely-short-notice help with Missing Link, since it was the one song I didn't have in a presentable state. Looks like I accidentally deleted the "(Karaoke)" from track 12's filename. Apologies for that.
