# Kino no Tabi (2003) ### Due to technical limitations of the time, Kino's Tabi was digitized by taking photos of each frame displayed on a CRT TV, leaving the show with distinct scanlines throughout each frame. Though lending it an aesthetic appeal to its audience at release, over time due to progress in technology and a youth whomsts earliest memory was of an LCD, these same scanlines have turned the series ugly and alienating to the new generations. This release provides a de-scanlined video, created by sending an inverted phase video feed through a crt to cancel out the scanlines, and using the same frame-by-frame photograph digitizing technique used in the source material to create a smooth video that is pleasant to viewers of all ages.
