# Grab the [V2](/view/1855265) instead ### Video JPBD source The usual stuff, denoise, rescale, regrain, aa, deband, with the latter two scenefiltered to some extent ### Audio - Japanese 2.0 Opus (from 24bit PCM) - English 2.0 AAC (CR) - German 2.0 AAC (CR) ### Subs - English [Kaizoku] taken from [their Github](https://github.com/notdedsec/Jujutsu-Kaisen) (on the 22. March 2022) (Full and Signs Tracks) - German, from CR, retimed to BD and with "translated" [Kaizoku] TS + untouched songs (Full and Signs Tracks) ‎ [MediaInfo](https://bin.disroot.org/?979491cc8eb585b9=#ETZP3o57KPFxHL94QFUKguxYdev6dpdUDSzERoHkYpne) ‎ Well well, this took a while. Yes this is technically triple audio but since most people search for Dual I just left it like that. This show is basically constant fighting and has a fuckton of dynamic grain, which I tried to not wipe and rather improve, so don't think too much into the size. I'm overall somewhat satisfied with the encode but don't expect something perfect. Thanks to sam for running a good amount of the scripts! V2 with some minor sub fixes and better audio for the dub will be coming as soon as the US or UK BDs are out!

Looks like the best release so far. Karaoke is fixed as well. What is wrong with opus? Everyone wanted flac?
> What is wrong with opus? Everyone wanted flac? Lossy vs lossless. Better suited to mini encodes.
Never had an issue with Opus so far though. Isn't that only lossy if you compress it into oblivion though? @Vodes: Will you also work on Hero Academia? Would love to have proper JP-BD versions for each season with clean subs that don't have attack-fx like kBaraka version has. So far all your releases have been fantastic. Would love to have my collection in that quality. Often I am good enough with the Web-Rips, but Hero Academia has quite some significant changes in the BD. Sure improved animations very nice, but they also darkened scenes in the TV/WEB-version for possible epileptic people. If you plan to, thank you very much, but I will look forward to every release you make no matter what! Thank you!!

I'm not gonna be personally doing a release for MHA but I might write a few scripts for someone else currently working on it
Thanks for the answer. Sounds cool if it works out!
I fixed all the typos in the subs for anyone that's interested. ### **[Link](https://mega.nz/file/OogDAIJa#qP6bx2ITL2v9hOKgZyt-hRBIDU32f3rDNXwYefY_uVg)**

Will probably do a V2 including a patch the following week
I'll make a release with dual FLAC once the USBD is out. Opus sucks ass. Gonna use Baws' improved subs, too.

come back when you can abx
@HachiRokuNiSanKyu you really don't have to split seeds for that... opus is completely transparent, especially at the generous bitrates vodes used. i watched this release and didn't even realize it was opus until you just mentioned it. flac is placebo for this use case. i will agree that an opus encode of the usbd's lossless track could be useful though, if vodes cares enough to wait for it.

I will update the audio whenever the USBD drops
I'll just make a FLAC release for the people who prefer it whenever the USBD drops. Thanks for the QCd subs, too.
216 kbps is not transparent by any means. It doesn't even reach the 320 kbps lossy standard. This is basically WEB audio for a BD release.

Yes it is and until you prove me wrong with a valid ABX you can keep coping. Not every lossy codec has the same bitrate requirements for being transparent. And stop shitting up my comments. Thanks
Can you maybe make a Bleach Canon Only Collection with uhm... enhancing HDTV raws? Found this canon guide: https://anidb.net/forum/thread/102320 Crunchy are ass and BD's pretty much sucked as well. But many old HDTV-raws have some shoddy compression despite looking vastly better. I wonder if there is something that can be done about that? I still have my Flomp & SGKK releases and since recently ParanDark for all the early 4:3 episodes. ( Not interested in the filler tbh )
@jcraw Reported for hate speech against good encoders
Why hate speech? Because HDTV? There is nothing better for Bleach tbh. ParanDark'S 4:3 is great and doesn't need a reencode or anything, but all 16:9 episodes are only available in a rather subpar state. BD looks like upscaled from 240p interlaced nonsense, HDTV looks most of the time a lot better, but they are old and have sometimes more or less compression artifacts, most noticable in dark scenes.
