mpv has [various options for forced](https://mpv.io/manual/master/), so you absolutely should tag it. For example `--sub-forced-only` and `--subs-with-matching-audio`. Even if mpv didn't have those options, other players and media servers do, so should be enabled regardless.

thanks for the info, they didn't work found out what the problem was after uploading it, --slang=eng should be set in mpv.conf, worked in mx player after changing subtitle settings to prefer eng.
