A dual-audio remux featuring Commie’s subtitles with Crunchyroll video and Funimation’s English audio along with an accompanying signs & songs subtitle track. Swapped to Crunchyroll video this week because we decided that it was better than Commie's downscale. We considered encoding the show ourselves however all video sources suck for this show as seen by the comparison https://slow.pics/c/jiNgzFcu and we didn't have access to Amazon (we asked around to the usual suspects that supply us and none were interested or responded back) thus we decided to go with Crunchyroll as-is. We'll update episode 13 in batch. I would suggest turning on debanding in your video player (was doing so with Commie video as well tbh). Funimation also failed this week by once again not having audio for the preview section. This has been spliced in again by us. This makes the second time it has happened with this show. If you use mpv and don't have debanding configured then this is a good starting place: mpv.conf ``` deband=no # this way debanding is off by default and has to be toggled on deband-iterations=4 deband-threshold=50 deband-range=12 deband-grain=58 ``` input.conf ``` d cycle deband ``` With that you can toggle debanding off and on with the d key on your keyboard. Obviously you can adjust to your preference but this is generally what I have found to be acceptable in most cases.
