I'm not upset at all about you uploading TrueHD, but I'm assuming you couldn't compress it since you always hate FLAC?

@Jaegers -- compressing it to FLAC or AAC would present the same problem: it's Dolby Atmos, and there's no freely available software that can recode Atmos without throwing away the metadata that makes it distinct from normal surround sound.

actually apparently there's no software at all, even paid, that will work with truehd. you need the master atmos files they used to compress it to truehd.

So you are telling me that everyone else who does the TrueHD>FLAC conversion is doing it wrong? Most people, at least the ones I have noticed, convert it to WAV and then to FLAC.

only for atmos. regular truehd can be converted for flac to save space (usually).

They haven't released the Movie BD version of this? Amazing work! I haven't watch GITS since finishing Arise (TV and Movie). I heard 2045 was really disappointing and others were saying Arise was better (It was actually pretty good, at least when you watch the TV series then 2015 Movie). Thanks for this!
