also how is the japanese audio bitrate 228 kb/s
Thanks
which subtitles did you use? Was it the AnimeChap one with the changes for the stand names?
Not sure if I follow. Did you encode bitrate-starved 2800 KB/s video to something 2.5x that size? lmao
He added grain so that's what caused the boost in filesize, probably.
@Interruptor also DJATOM[Beatrice-Raws] encode algorithm is used which is one of the best encoders in nyaa So I think this encode should be the same quality as them right?
I'm inclined to believe this is (way?) better than what Netflix has to offer. Not only that, but this seems like the kind of show where artificial grain is a good addition.
>also DJATOM[Beatrice-Raws] encode algorithm is used which is one of the best encoders in nyaa well, let's check out what changes this epic x264 mod includes >Mod contains few extra features: >extended progress line, including elapsed/estimated remaining encode time, estimated file size, etc >y4m: XLENGTH tag support >avisynth: support for 10-14 bit formats >loading of external avisynth library >vapoursynth support with loading of external vsscript library >option to hide encode settings >option to allocate more bitrate on fades >log file support well, i'm pretty sure only the second to last has anything to do with video quality, and while fade comp is a pretty useful feature, it's not unique to this build and it's not a massive thing regardless. the uploader also didn't use it if you look at the mediainfo. but i shouldn't expect a random idiot on this site to know what they're talking about.
why are you calling me dumb bro? it's clear I don't understand encoding and that why I did ask @Interruptor if it was the same quality as DJATOM? İs in your opinion everyone dumb who doesn't know encoding? I think you should fuck off cuz no one was asking you anything
yeah i guess ignorant is more the correct word
