So I combined the 2017 re-release of the album plus the alternative edits from her “Golden Best” compilation".
For further background, Marlene is a Filipina who now lives in Japan and gathered success there in the eighties. Her style is mostly AOR and Smooth Jazz with hints of City Pop every now and then.
This is her second album to hit the Oricon charts at the time (the other being the also popular album, Deja Vu), peaking at #5.
As per usual, this album is a mix of cover versions of other hits from the same era and other original compositions.
