Filtered encode of the 1080p version of the JPBD For the video I denoised, deringed, debanded, lightly AA'd and regrained. I removed as much of the ringing as I could without hurting any other details in the image with scenefiltering for that and debanding as well I tried to keep the size of the video lower but I wasn't happy with how it was turning out at any less size Audio is the 5.1 track from the bluray converted to Flac and the E-ac3 netflix dub audio Audio and subs stretched have been from the netflix rip to sync properly, because netflix was 24fps rather than 23.976 I may do a 4k release as well soon if people want it

animorph subs weren't synced to the correct framerate from netflix to the bluray and I had already fixed the netflix subs so I used those. if someone retimes the subs entirely and its a good enough upgrade then I'll probably make a patch for it.

Finished the movie. One of the best movies of all time! T____T I highly suggest everyone watching the movie (as long as you also watch the TV-OVA-Gaiden) since it's a lot of reference to those all throughout. What a way to end the franchise. I haven't cried this much since FFX's Ending. Yui Ishikawa's performance is perfection. She IS VIOLET EVERGARDEN!

Kyoani truly one of the best Anime studios ever. RIP to employees who pass away in the fire incident. I hope everyone one of you will be able to see the movie somewhere in the afterlife. Anyone know which volume of Light Novel takes place after the movie? The anime/movie are a bad adptation of the novels (as all of KyoAni novel adaptations are) Just read from the beginning

@matheousse bad adaptation doesn't make it a bad series or film, some parts just don't work in both mediums, still one of the best series to come out in recent years. I never enjoy the source material as much as people suggest I would unless its manga ofc
