Wtf? People don't just give up their top spot and forego their selection into the finals just like that so that the MC can make it in their place. This was so incredibly stupid and cringe af. I follow the 3 eps rule but I cannot bear to watch one more episode of whatever this stupidity is.

Yeah I was dreading they were ganna go with that in episode 2 and it was absurdly dumb. The only way they couldve pulled this off to any degree is if there were multiple episodes establishing MC and American girl as BFFs.
