Considering the show blew through all 40 existing manga chapters in 8 episodes and everything after that was anime original (unless the authors shared their future plans with the staff), it sucks that it still ended on a cliffhanger, and I doubt a second season is in the cards.
@Zhou There's no anime original content, everything has been adapted from the webcomic, until the last chapter released.
And it's on hiatus since 2016, so don't expect a season 2...
@nihonjin, thanks, I wasn't aware of the webcomic. I should have realized that the contents of the last three episodes were too good to be anime original, no matter how good a writer Hiroshi Seko is. Here's hoping that by the time the manga reaches the point were the webcomic stopped, it will continue with all-new material.
