Questionable tl, quite a few lines messed up

Terrible, terrible translation. It reads like MTL or somebody just translated word by word without understanding the full picture. "I Woke up to the Joy of Painting" "Japan is open! The cross was complete" --> "Open space for Japan...he crosses it in..." "The finals are here!" --> "We're going to the finals!" "Japan's shot decided it!" --> "Japan delivered the game winner!" "You guys should also take your credits seriously" --> "You guys are in danger of flunking" "Yes sir" --> "Yeah, yeah" "What the hell's with this rank? It's not good" --> He has a good rank, they're weirded out by how good his grades are. "Was that a Nurikabe? TL Note: Nurikabe is a plank youkai..." -- Are you fucking kidding me dude? It's a canvas board for PAINTING. And this is just the first 2 minutes. Some more random shit: "...has the highest applicant to acceptance rate in all of Japan" --> "Has the LOWEST acceptance rate in all of Japan." "The applicant to acceptance ratio of active students is around 200 to 1" --> "Only 1 in 200 students are admitted straight out of high school" "About 5 active students are accepted every year" --> "Around 5 students per year are accepted on their first try" (Japan has "ronin" students who apply multiple times to their preferred college instead of attending a safety school) "3 or 4 years are the norm" --> "Many applicants have applied 3 or 4 times"

It gets worse, watched quite a bit, does seem like a mtl/guesslation :')

Ironically, the scanlation for chapter 1 is actually pretty good. If he had just used that instead of making this monstrosity it would have been 10x better.

i like to get all the words through in the original translation. if it dont make sense, then tough that's what they said. i'm not putting words in their mouth as changing what they say basically. i admit though, the youkai thing was a stretch so we will definitely fix that later on in probably a bd release. im still learning new things every day, that's just how life is

I'm not saying this to be mean or anything, but stop. Seriously. [@Mizore](https://nyaa.si/view/1437223#com-9) As Gucannon's pointed out, all of your mistakes have been because of not understanding what's happening or not knowing the context. I doubt that's in any way the script's fault since others are able to understand it just fine. If you're learning Japanese or something, you just aren't ready yet. And well, if this is MTL, please stop, you'll just become another ATS...

thanks for the feedback everyone, we will make a version 2 release that will not warrant this much constructive criticism (which won't be cringe). it'll either be released at a BD release or sooner rather than later, it just depends. and yes hermandshot we will translate both the OP and ED just for you, young man. tncurz thanks for your comment - i am still learning japanese and i am somewhat cringe but it is ok, i just did a lot of direct translation because i thought it was okay but its obviously not + i was lazy and tired of translating, but i have learned my lesson guncannon thanks young man and you too high iq, tncurz

@Mizore... Dude. Thanks a lot for a contribution anyway. Don't get upset of somebody who did nothing but write negative things. Just take into consideration some good critical points and press on...
