shouldn't you stop expecting quality video at this point? they literally use ohys, possibly the worst video source for this anime.

As long as ohys continues to be the only raw that we can consistently count on being the first available when a majority of the team can start working, we'll be going with them. If you want to get down to the nitty gritty, then yes, the video quality is lacking compared to non-TV-rip sources. But we're adults with obligations outside of being subbers, and it's a huge waste of time to be sitting around waiting for other raws when a perfectly usable one is already available. If the video quality is detrimental to your viewing experience, you're welcome to take the files that we offer in the description and combine them with any source of your choosing. You're also welcome to wait for other releases with video quality that you prefer.

I agree with arbshortcake, ohys-raw's upload are only 15 mins late from the time it gets broadcasted on nhk or other source, the quality are not bad tbh, its watchable and able to make some subs works from team onibe and other subbers we have, plus they are giving us free access to this while legal streaming sites are 3 days late

you know, there's a third option other than using ohys or waiting for better video. it's called recruiting an encoder and doing your own encode.

The waka stream has better quality outside of the CG scenes would require a lot of splicing, waka stream bitrate cap
