… and … I found something interesting … there was a prequel story, and the prequel was published in English by Kodansha USA … the prequel story is called “Ningyou no Kuni” (country of the dolls) https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=132994
from what I understand, Danke never bothers to read or respond to any “comments” … it would be nice if someone knew a way to get hold of him so they could ask if he would please grab the prequel story for this and then upload it in here

@komugi: Country of the dolls was a one shot precursor (not a prequel) to APOSIMZ, in a similar way that Suzumega (or “Battle Lepidopteran Hawk Moths”) might have been proto version of Knights of Sidonia.
