EDIT: Mirrored to usenet. This is not dual audio. This is a sub only release. A lot of shoujo are condemmed to a pretty cruel fate of obscurity. Vampire Knight, then, is definitely not one of those exceptions. The Netflix subs for the series are timed poorly, we only ever got a DVD release of the show with shitty looking vobsubs, and it just seems that in general enjoying this old shoujo is quite difficult with seemingly only the shitty DVD subs being available. Coldhell did a great job on this series, in fact while I have seen 1 other fansub release floating around (only via streaming, pretty sure no one still has those files…) it isn’t nearly as well-polished and enjoyable as these subs IMO. When I learned that all Nyaa had were the scrap releases using the subs of the shitty US DVD release I knew eventually I was gonna have to upload this so people could actually fully enjoy this unique and fun show. The OP/ED styling is probably my favorite aspect of this sub, although I don’t just love those aspects – I love everything about them. If I recall, there were some mistakes but nothing major (especially not worse than the NF and DVD subs). Coldhell’s Vampire Knight release prior to this upload was pretty much buried under the Nyaa search results with zero seed activity, practically a dead corpse by this point. I wanted to bring back this softsub since its the best way to experience the show so here I am.
