But it's also the season where Subaru goes from a boy to a man. The true villain of season 1 is finally revealed, as well as possibly the final boss of the entire story. We meet the witches, which may not be what we were told they were. And Subaru has to face off against a situation that requires him to be in two places at once, making him have to choose who to save. Fantastic animation, exquisite soundtrack and some gorgeous backgrounds help immerse you into the story, which is, despite what detractors of the trial section say, exciting.
